Research
My research interest stems from experiences as a Speech Language Pathologist (5 years) and special education teacher (9 years, self contained K-5). As an educator, I saw not only a need for research in the area of reading with students with extensive support needs but a dearth of implementation of evidence based practices in classrooms with teachers as the implementers.
